The room was clean, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious for one person. I stayed in room 120, and it had all the essentials. Only a short walk to the Colosseum and local eateries with good food. Perfect for my needs during my stay!

The rooms can be a gamble. Beds have been described as uncomfortable, almost like sleeping on concrete, and several rooms have had issues with broken amenities like lamps and shower holders. The breakfast setup is in a rather unwelcoming cold, underground room, and one guest felt quite uneasy in the claustrophobic lift. cleanliness seemed to be a recurring issue, with reports of dust accumulation and poorly maintained common areas.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Altavilla. The location was perfect for exploring Rome, being just a short walk from major attractions. Our triple room was comfortable and equipped with air conditioning, which was great for the hot summer nights. Breakfast was decent, with a helpful lady ensuring we got what we needed.
The shower holder was broken in our room.

fantastic access to iconic landmarks and vibrant parks
the hotel's central position made it super easy for me to wander over to the stunning basilica of st mary of the angels and martyrs, just a couple of minutes away, and enjoy the breathtaking views at the trevi fountain which was only about 20 minutes on foot, making my weekend exploring so enjoyable and memorable.

Great location with easy access to many attractions, though breakfast options were limited to just pastries and coffee. The room was clean and had both AC and a fan, which made a significant difference during hot nights. there was some noise from fellow travelers in the hall, which detracted from the experience.

Had a great time with friends. Location was perfect. we walked to many attractions. The staff were friendly and eager to help. We enjoyed great dining options nearby. The room was clean and tidy, and we made the most of our short stay. Breakfast was basic, but good enough to start the day.
One downside was the noise from traffic at night, which could be bothersome when trying to sleep.
